3 days tour to Varmland but triple the enjoyment

Travel with us to Varmland’s beautiful landscape, Vanern, which is Sweden’s largest and Europe’s third-largest lake!

Varmland offers exceptional scenery, manor environments, art and culture.

Day 1: Skane / Halland / West Coast – Karlstad

You will be picked up from your destination in the morning by a comfortable tourist bus. We drive along the west coast in the direction of the country’s largest lake, Vanern. In Kristinehamn, we stop for a coffee break and along the way enjoy the Picasso statue. On arrival in Karlstad, we check into our hotel and then have dinner together, where we round off the day.

Day 2: Karlstad

We visit Sandgrund Lars Lerin’s brilliant art gallery with guided tours this morning. In the afternoon, we go to Alsters Herrgård, an 18th-century traditional Swedish manor house, where we first get homemade food for lunch followed by a supervised tour. In the evening, you have the perfect opportunity to explore Karlstad on your own.

Day 3: Karlstad – Skane / Halland / West Coast

Today we say goodbye to Karlstad and drive towards the aqueduct in Haverud. Here we will see the engineering art presenting a unique intersection of road, rail and waterways; if we are lucky, then we will see how the Four lock system works here. It is a sight you would not want to miss. We then continue south along the west coast, and then you will be dropped back home in the evening.
